Sophia, Dogged Detective, a Bant commander that turns artifact tokens into a real win condition. Instead of focusing purely on Dogs, this deck is built around a powerful artifact-token engine using Food, Clues, the new Mutagen tokens and scalable synergies to snowball the game out of control.

Sophia creates Tiny and rewards your Dogs for connecting in combat by generating artifact tokens. Those tokens aren’t just utility pieces for life gain or card draw, they’re fuel for our engine. For just one mana, we convert them into permanent +1/+1 counters across our entire board, turning small incremental value into pressure.

What makes this deck so satisfying to pilot is how every small interaction feeds the next. Dogs generate artifacts, artifacts become counters, counters make combat easier, and combat generates even more artifacts. Sophia isn’t just the token generator, she’s also the payoff sitting right there in the command zone.

This list was built around a roughly €300 budget, but with alternatives mentioned throughout the video it's closer to €200 if you want a more accessible version. It’s not the most explosive deck I’ve ever built, but it’s easily one of the most synergistic and rewarding ones.
