We wanted to get back to the coast and explore Asilomar State beach. We were able to see the damage from the recent storms in the Monterey Bay.
Fun Fact: Did you know that Jim Henson and Frank Oz met for the first time at the Asilomar Conference Center? They met at the 1960 Puppeteers of America Convention held at the conference center that year! Hard to imagine my childhood without that Dynamic Duo!!
Perfect spot to explore the tide-pools. Also checking out some of the storm damage from the 2022 storm that rolled through Monterey California.
