The Muskegon Area Intermediate School District has teamed up with United Way of the Lakeshore and Mona Shores Public Schools at Campbell Elementary to equip and educate tutors in the science of reading, with a focus on phonics instruction for kindergarten students.
This video offers a glimpse inside one building, but the impact stretches far beyond its walls. Trained tutors are serving students across Muskegon County, strengthening foundational literacy skills and ensuring more children build the confidence to read, grow, and succeed!
