Описание: Affectionately known by many in the community as T.T. Kim, Kimberley Sims was born, raised, and currently resides in the City of Muskegon Heights. The ultimate goal for Mrs. Sims is to empower a people who seem to have been marginalized by the inner circles — to be the voice for the people who say little, yet their conditions scream for assistance. In her talk at TEDxMuskegon, Mrs. Sims shares her vision to re-invent one of Muskegon County's oldest cities, through tough conversation and grass roots mobilization.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
