Описание: A cascade of complaints prompted the California State Legislature to pass a bill requiring the California Public Utilities Commission to speed up and make more transparent the process for connecting customers to the grid. In 2024 the Commission ordered the investor-owned utilities to meet certain energization deadlines, and file biannual reports detailing their progress in doing so (see D.24-09-020 under R.24-01-018). San Diego Gas and Electric Company, Southern California Edison, and other Invester Owned Utilities (IOUs) are incrementally working toward meeting the Commission's mandates. This webinar will cover regulatory requirements, the IOUs' efforts to meet them, and possible future approaches to getting Tribal homes and facilities grid-connected and energized more quickly. TECC’s Regulatory Consultant Steven Moss of M. Cubed will present.

TECC is developing and hosting this training series as part of its initiative to build sustainable capacity for Tribes to participate in CPUC decision-making processes and access clean energy programs.
