In this five-part video series you are given the chance to take a closer look into the Sadowsky Germany instrument production, as Nicolas Wilfer (C.E.O. of Sadowsky Germany) and Lars Lehman (German session musician and journalist) take you on a tour to show you everything that is to know about Sadowsky basses made in Germany. Starting at wood selection over production techniques that are unique to the industry to assembly and Sadowsky specific electronics. We guide you through the entire process step by step and answer some questions on how this special collaboration with Roger Sadowsky originated and how the German production differs but keeps true its American roots to deliver the unique and authentic Sadowsky experience and improving on it.
In this first part we are going to show you how we cut, select, and glue our woods before the parts go into the CNC machines.
