Rodrigo Gallardo is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Chile. He began his journey in music from an early age, next to the Charango and the Zampoña. His career includes being one of the founders of the ‘Matanza’ band, with whom he created for almost ten years compositions loaded with influences from folklore and electronics.
He currently presents a LIVE format with 4 musicians on stage, where they perform the songs of his own. The band’s sonic inspirations began in the Andean and Latin-American music. Their sound gets spiced and mixed with electronic beats, deep bass and hypnotic signing. With these musical elements and Rodrigo’s unique use of Charangos and Guitars, they create an emotional journey, aiming to connect the listeners to the collective consciousness and ancient roots..
