「Theme」

【Encounter with a new version of myself】

「Production background」

“Those who admit their weakness, accept change and are transient are beautiful”

People are always changing. This piece represents my message that honestly recognizing one’s own change and looking forward are natural and beautiful.

The theme of this song is “encounter with a new version of myself.”

I made this song with the hope that listeners could feel a little more positive way.

Actually, the theme at first was the “struggle” inside me.
I started composing trying to express the struggle I had between “ideal kindness” and “uncompromising wish.”

However, as I advance in composition, my mind started to change, and I became eager to encounter “a new version of myself” that awaits me beyond this struggle.
Through the struggle, my mind was starting to look forward. It was uncomfortable for me to express the “struggle” which has now become the thing of the past, but at the same time, I couldn’t erase the struggle of the past.

So, I decided to follow the change of my mind and to recreate the song under the theme of “encounter with a new version of myself.”
Although it took quite a long time to complete, I’m glad I followed my mind since it became positive piece. The song turned out to be very humanistic.

Everything drifts.

The moment I change and look forward, all the world around me started to change accordingly.
Although it is important to realize “the change of myself made by environment,” I think it is also important to realize “the change of environment due to my change.”

By changing myself, I can change the world.
If we could feel it in daily basis, our days should be more vivid and fresh.

Being in a struggle is a sign of change.
Beyond the conflict awaits a new version of myself and the new world.
The worldview of this song is based on these ideas.

I think it's very difficult to erase the struggles we face every day, but I hope that those of you who are currently in the midst of struggle and can't seem to move forward will be able to become a little more positive with this song.

【新しい自分との出会い】

「制作背景 」

【弱さを認めて 変化を受け入れ 移りゆくものは美しい】

人というのは常に変わっていくもの。自身の変化を正直に感じ取り、前を向いていく事は、とても自然で美しいものだというメッセージを込めた作品です。

今回の曲のテーマは「新しい自分との出会い」です。
この曲を聴く方々が、少しでも前向きになれるようにと願いながら完成させました。

実は、制作当初のテーマは自分の中にある「葛藤」でした。
「理想の優しさ」と「譲れない想い」との間で揺れる、僕がリアルタイムで感じていた葛藤を表現しようと制作していました。
しかし、制作を進めていくうちに心境が変化していき、この葛藤の先に居る 「新しい自分」に出会いたいという気持ちが強くなっていきました。
僕の心は葛藤を経て、前を向き始めていました。
もう過去になってしまったその「葛藤」を表現する事に違和感がありましたし、過去の葛藤を消し去る事もどうしても出来ずにいました。
そこで思い切って心情の変化に従い、「新しい自分との出会い」というテーマで曲を作り直すことにしました。

完成までかなり時間がかかってしまいましたが、結果的に前向きな作品になったので、自身の変化に素直に従って良かったなと思っています。
とても人間らしい作品になりました。

万物は流転します。自身が変化し前を向いた瞬間に、周りの世界もそれに合わせてどんどん変わっていきます。
「自身の変化による、周りの変化」を感じる事が、とても重要ではないかと僕は思っています。自分が変わることで、世界が変わっていく。

そんな感覚を日々感じられるなら、僕たちの毎日はもっと新鮮なものになっていくのではないでしょうか。

葛藤の先には新しい自分、新しい世界が待っている。この曲の世界観はこういった考えから成り立っています。
現在葛藤中で、なかなか前に進めない方が少しでも前向きになれればという願いを込めて。

この度、新曲「New You」をリリースします。いつも聴いてくれる皆さん、本当にありがとうございます。
