Here I describe dynamic baselines. What are they? They generally consist of matching to a control group outside a project and following their outcomes over time. What are some of the pitfalls? Stocking indices, matching criteria, and just measuring the right thing.
CORRECTION: I've updated a section describing Isometric's approach to dynamic baselines. Previously I had said they work similar to VM0047, but now I make clear that they do calculations on behalf of projects with a carbon-linked stocking index.
