In response to F-class Community Channel Subscriber Long Range Shooting request. Here is a small overview to why I chose the Sightron S3 (SS3) 10-50x60 scope for my system.
As a budget minded F-class shooter the SS3 scope provided the quality and magnification I needed to start competing. At half the price of a some Competition Nightforce, 1/3+ of March or Schmidt & Bender scopes SS3 scope provided me with best glass that fit into my tight F-class budget when I started as an F-class competitor. Cost of the scope provided great value with a high magnification range.
Pros:
Value with great mechanic
Great clear glass
Positive feedback from Turrets
Great Magnification Range
Cons:
Sun shade is an extra cost
Side parallax adjustment can be a little coarse and stiff
Dispersion at closer range.
