Recently there has been an array of discussions over the 'freebies' and the so called 'revadi culture'.
Freebies are things which are distributed free of cost especially as a strategic move before the elections to get public attention.
The states such as Tamil Nadu has given Televisions and Grinders as freebies in the past. But the same state of Tamil Nadu also gave Mid Day Meal as freebie which triggered debates at instant but was eventually accepted as a nation wide scheme across India.
