Daniel Gallant is a cultural leader, writer, and strategist who has played a major role in shaping New York’s arts community. He previously served for more than a decade as Executive Director of the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, one of the most influential performance poetry venues in the world.
He has also led House of Speakeasy, an organization dedicated to celebrating authors and literature through live storytelling events, and currently serves as Director of External Affairs at the Vineyard Theatre in New York.
