I just finished Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree and this was an easy five-star read for me.

What I loved most about this story was the characters and how they slowly came together to help Viv bring her retirement dream to life. Watching an adventurer step away from the battlefield and build a coffee shop was such a cozy and satisfying concept.

As someone who loves RPGs and tabletop storytelling, I especially love the idea of an adventurer retiring and opening a business. It feels like the story that happens after the campaign ends, and Travis Baldree executed it beautifully.

The found family elements, the warm atmosphere, and the character-driven story made this one of my favorite reads so far.

⭐ Rating: 5 / 5 stars

Next up I’ll be reading Bookshops & Bonedust by Travis Baldree.
