Pray that your leadership would be shaped by God’s calling and purpose, not by worldly measures of success, status, or eloquence. Ask the Lord to help you lead with humility, clarity, and authority, following the example of Paul, who pointed people to Christ and not to himself. Pray that your confidence would rest in God’s power and wisdom, not personal strength according to 1 Corinthians 1:26–29 ESV For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.

Pray that you hear from the Lord clearly and do not lead from trauma or past experience. Ask God to sharpen your spiritual hearing so your leadership decisions flow from revelation, not reaction. Pray that unresolved trauma, disappointment, or past failures would not dictate how you lead, respond, or govern others. Ask the Lord to heal what needs healing and to anchor your leadership in His voice rather than fear or memory according to Isaiah 30:21 ESV And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.
Pray that you lead with wisdom that comes from God.

Pray that your leadership would be marked by wisdom, discernment, and understanding. Ask the Lord to fill you with wisdom that produces peace, clarity, and right judgment. Pray that your decisions would bless those you lead and reflect God’s heart and order according to James 1:5 ESV If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
