If you’ve ever been told “you’re fine” when you don’t feel fine, this conversation will resonate.
In 2015, Cindy suffered a concussion while playing hockey. She went from doctor to doctor, tried different medications, and eventually got back to about 85–90% of her normal life — but never quite 100%.
Then, exactly 10 years later, everything changed.
One morning she woke up and it felt like her vestibular system had simply switched off.
No illness. No obvious trigger. Just… suddenly back to where she started.
For 6–8 weeks she was housebound. She couldn’t drive. Daily life became incredibly difficult.
And yet — every test came back normal.
THE SHIFT was her last-ditch effort before going back on anti-anxiety medication.
In this episode, Cindy shares:
• What the 2015 concussion started — and why she never fully recovered
• The moment, 10 years later, when everything came flooding back
• Why she began to feel like she was the problem when all her tests were normal
• What stood out about THE SHIFT — the structure, community, and support between appointments
• Her Power Vision from week one — and how she’s now living it
• Where she is today, both with symptoms and with life
“I feel like I have more control now… the power lies within me.”
