Description (from program notes): Caroline Shaw is a musician who works often in collaboration with others as producer, composer, violinist, and vocalist. She is the recipient of the Pulitzer Prize in Music (at 30, the youngest winner ever) Shaw composed and the swallow in 2017-upon reflecting on the Syrian refugee crisis, she was struck by the line “how beloved is your dwelling place” from Psalm 84. You can hear the Chamber Singers perform more women composers and lots of Mark Miller in Summit Jan. 31 at 7pm
