In this video I go into detail about a leak my car had. This video should apply to Mustangs between 2005 to 2011 with slight variation. To sum the video up, there are 10 grommets that the cowl panels lock into. Those grommets have gaskets around them that go bad. Once they go bad they let water leak into the car (rain, car wash, hose ect) the leaks can happen on the driver side and the passenger side and soak your carpet/floor. Please note that this is what worked for my situation. Your own situation may be different then mine so your leak may not be coming from where mine did. I hope this video helps you.
