The sound reflects that condition. Pads swell slowly and fall away without resolution. Percussion is distant and sparse, more like memory than rhythm. Persian melodic fragments surface briefly and withdraw, leaving space where something essential should be. Nothing rushes. Nothing fills the gaps.
