Allah calls us to reflect deeply. But how do we actually do that?

It begins with a prerequisite: humility. Once a person accepts that the Quran is divine, the approach changes. We do not come as critics. We come ready to be corrected. Ready to admit, “I don’t know.”

From there, the first lens is language. Every word carries depth. Grammar, structure, choice of vocabulary, nothing is accidental.

The second lens is immersion. Enter the world the Quran is painting. When it describes wind, study wind. When it describes ancient Egypt, explore its culture. When it captures a moment of emotion, sit inside that emotion. Don’t rush past it.

Tadabbur is not skimming.

It is staying.

It is wrestling.

It is allowing the Quran to take you somewhere and not resisting the journey.

The question is not whether the Quran is profound.

The question is whether we are prepared to approach it properly.
