Riding down off of Gavia Pass in Italy (Passo Gavia). During my last full day of riding in the Alps I rode up and over Gavia Pass. I then rode back up from the north side and spent some time at the pass. I then rode down from Gavia Pass heading back towards Milano. The Gavia Pass road was a lot of fun. The road is very narrow towards to the top of the pass which makes passing on coming vehicles interesting and it can be dangerous. The Alps are awesome and the views are great. The BMW R1200RS was a great motorcycle for the trip. This Texan had a great time riding in the Alps. Gavia Pass was a highlight of the trip.
