Grado is located in the middle of the northernmost lagoon of the Adriatic Sea, it's an elegant seaside town floating between land and sea.
With it's narrow streets and little squares bordered by picturesque fishermen’s homes, the town is a very unique view.
Grado is known as the island of the sun because its south-facing three kilometres of beaches are never in the shade, and thanks to the area’s macroclimate it is always sunny.
Come with me, first by bike, along the beautiful road that connects the island to the mainland, surrounded by the lagoon, and then by foot, walking around the town, along the promenade and in the old part of the town, with it's characteristic houses and squares.
(It was VERY windy during the bike ride, so sorry if the audio isn't the best!).
