Determine Similar Triangles: Side Lengths

Описание: This video introduces the idea of similar triangles and the fact that they have proportional side lengths. If the ratio of any set of corresponding sides on two triangles are equal to the same number, then they are proportional and therefore the two triangles are similar. Basically, one triangle is a scaled version of the other and all of the side lengths in the smaller triangle are multiplied by the same number to get the side lengths in the bigger triangle.

Similar triangles share the same shape but have different sizes. These triangles have all equal angle measures but the side lengths are usually different.
