Описание: Welcome to 'Quantum Algorithms & Cryptography' course !

This lecture introduces the course Quantum Algorithms and Cryptography. The course will discuss cryptography, the science of keeping secrets. It will then discuss the foundations of quantum computation, including the mathematical model for quantum mechanics, quantum gates and quantum computing, and quantum algorithms that outperform classical algorithms. The course will also look at how to prepare against quantum computers breaking cryptography by looking at quantum resistant cryptography. In the latter part of the course, the focus will shift to how quantum computers can help cryptography by looking at quantum cryptography. Finally, the course will also look at homomorphic encryption, a cutting-edge cryptographic primitive, and how it allows computations to be performed on encrypted data.
