Skater skirts are a basic and very trendy staple piece perfect for all figures and body types from petite to plus size and you'll be able to customize this one exactly as you like with your favorite stretch fabric (solid fabric, prints, and whatever length you prefer). This tutorial is episode 2 of my Wardrobe Basics mini series where you'll learn to make staple pieces for your closet. Pair it with the t-shirt from episode 1 and you'll have a complete outfit ready for any occasion!

-1 1/4 yards of a stretch knit fabric (mine is for an above the knee skirt so you may want extra fabric if you want a longer skirt)
