Continuing this week's series on unusual Cartier tiaras, I present to you an exquisite art deco aigrette tiara, and an ethereal example made of carved rock crystal.
The aigrette is definitely one of my favorite Cartier pieces. I adore the thin band coupled with the dramatic centerpiece, the sparkling briolettes and the fluffy plume. It is truly a flapper's dream!
The second tiara, made of icy carved rock crystal, platinum, and diamonds, is absolutely entrancing in person. With large rock crystal plaques carved with arabesques, brilliant and rose cut diamonds set in platinum, it is elegant and dreamy.
