✈️ Zambia Airways will finally take off on December 1st
For the past three years, the stranded nation of South Africa has been working in partnership with Ethiopian Airlines to revive its national pavilion that disappeared 26 years ago. Initially announced for September 30, the launch of Zambia Airways has been postponed indefinitely without official reasons.
✈️ #AirSenegal increases its flights to the United States for the winter season
On September 2, Air Senegal inaugurated the route to the United States (Dakar-New-York-Baltimore Washington), its eighth international open link in 2021. In fact, the Senegalese pavilion came to fill a void left by South African Airways and put an end to the monopoly of the American carrier Delta Air Lines.
Nigeria's newest airline, #GreenAfricaAirways, has announced new domestic routes, offering Nigerian passengers more travel options connectivity.
The new routes include Akure-Abuja-Akure, starting from 22 November, 2021, and Akure-Owerri-Akure, starting from 23 November, 2021
Other routes are Lagos-Benin-Lagos and Benin-Abuja-Benin, both starting from 1 December, 2021. All new routes will be operated by ATR-70 aircraft.
#GreenAfricaAirways is the newest airline in Nigeria. It currently operates flights to seven domestic destinations including Lagos, Abuja, Owerri, Enugu, Akure, Ilorin, and Port Harcourt.
✈️ #Rebranding: 2 years after its launch of passenger flights, FlyWestair becomes Fly Namibia
Based at #Windhoek-Eros International Airport, the private company Westair Aviation (which operated so far under the commercial name FlyWestair) has changed its name to Fly Namibia. A ceremony marking this major transition in the company's history was held on Monday, November 1, 2021.
✈️ #RoyalAirMorocco to Dubai from December
Royal Air Morocco (RAM) expects the new route to meet the expectations of the Moroccan diaspora residing in the United Arab Emirates, including foreign tourists and business travelers.
✈️ #Camair-Co receiving its second Dash8-400
The strengthening of the Camair-Co fleet comes in preparation of the African Cup of Nations that Cameroon will host in January 2022.
