Описание: From the first flight to the F-15A in 1972, to modern day 2020, the world's most advanced F-15, the F-15SA arrives for Ex. Cobra Warrior 25-1 at RAF Waddington. The Royal Saudi Air Force's F-15SA are operated by 3 Wing at King Abdulaziz Air Base with 92 Squadron and 5 Wing at King Khalid Air Base flying with 6 Squadron and 55 Squadron.

Sadly, these F-15's do not Fweep™ as the have different engines to the F-15E Strike Eagle. The F-15SA are powered by two GE Aviation F110-GE-129 afterburning turbofans which have mechanical or hydraulic actuating systems. The F-15SA control system is fly-by-wire too making it very advanced for a fourth gen fighter jet. But wait, it ain't just got that; lets whack on a BAE Systems digital electronic warfare system along with a missile warning system (DEWS/CMWS), we can throw in some Lockheed Martin’s AN/AAS-42 infrared search and track (IRST) system, AN/AAQ-13 Low Altitude Navigation and Targeting Infrared for Night (LANTIRN) system, Lockheed Martin AN/AAQ-33 Sniper advanced targeting pod (ATP) and there is also a posh Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) and a Link-16 multifunctional information distribution system (MIDS). Not bad eh!?

The maiden flight for the F-15SA was made on the 20th February 2013.
