The Border Collie is a British breed of herding dog of the collie type of medium size. It originates in the region of the Anglo-Scottish border, and descends from the traditional sheepdogs once found all over the British Isles. It is kept mostly as a working sheep-herding dog or as a companion animal

Training and Exercise
Training: Border Collies thrive on training and need consistent mental challenges. They respond well to positive reinforcement techniques.
Exercise: They need at least 1-2 hours of vigorous exercise daily. Activities like running, hiking, playing fetch, and participating in dog sports are ideal.
Living Conditions
Space: While they can adapt to various living environments, they do best in homes with ample space to run and play.
