sorry for the long wait, guys. i hope this video makes up for my absence. it astonishes me how much our community has grown in the past year. the number of subscribers on my channel has more than DOUBLED since my last (big) video. thank you all for continuing to make this channel flourish even without my presence. that is just unbelievable. you deserve this video and much more to come.

i want to give a HUGE thanks to Nyrk for teaching my how to set up the midi-powered led strips (yes, they are controlled by the launchpad), and to mat1jaczyyy for writing the code to run the leds with ableton. this video would not have happened without these talented people.

this project is for the launchpad only. the complete project with the leds was too much for my computer to handle and i had to split it up into three parts, so i combined them again and excluded the led strip lights.
this project uses the mat1jaczyyy palette included in retina and the custom launchpad firmware.
