Watchmen explained Episode 1.1. Understanding the HBO series.

This first episode is HBO's Watchmen and I am looking at the opening scenes.

This episodes has stills from the HBO production of Watchmen and Warner Brothers Superman the movie as well as various historical photos.

This series is a sequel to the original graphic novel and not the movie from 2009.

This will be spoiler heavy so if you have not read the graphic novel or seen the show be advised I will be freely talking about major plot points constantly through this series.
