Here we are with Buji’s part 2 of her vision correction surgery in South Korea. She already knew about her extreme nearsightedness, but she did not know it will give her the restriction of undergoing any laser refractive surgeries. (Like conventional LASIK or LASEK)
However, Buji was a candidate for a surgery called, “EVO+ AQUA ICL”(ICL: Implantable Collamer Lens) where without damaging cornea, we simply implant a biocompatible lens inside the eyes to correct her vision. It is not as easy as it sounds, because it requires more of doctor’s exquisite skills and experiences to succeed in surgery.
