Seed to Plate - Carrots E1

Описание: The Seed to Plate video series is a project that we did during the lockdown to not only keep ourselves busy and to have a good time but also to keep our minds occupied on something creative. It definitely achieved that goal for us but after filming we moved onto to other things and did not get back to finishing the edit, until now. I am excited to finally release it. I hope you enjoy the show as much as we did in making it.

Each episode follows one crop in the garden from seeding, to growing, to harvest, and then to plate. In the end, I cook a meal with that vegetable at the barn with my family. Along the way, we have a blast farming, gardening, and working on projects around the farm.

There are eight episodes and the first will be released here, this Sunday night, March 12th, at 7pm. New episodes will be released here for eight weeks, same day and time.
If you have the ability to watch on a large screen, we recommend it. It is all shot in 4k.

Conor Crickmore quit his job in the city and moved to the country. There he started an organic farm from scratch and never looked back.

His farm became successful due to his simple systems. He now works to help small farms succeed. His a well known educator throughout the world in small scale market farming and has been very successful at earning a good living growing vegetables on a small plot. He farms without tillage and uses mostly hand tools.
