Описание: AstroSim (Astrophysics Simulation) is conceived as a joint research project between the National Institute of Informatics (located in Tokyo), the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, and the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. The primary objective of the project is the development of a Second Life based application, in which astrophysics phenomena involving the simulation of stars kinematics can be visualized. Specifically, the application supports collaborative visualization and easy data manipulation of a scaled-down version of a Globular Star Cluster Evolution Simulation for educational and presentational purposes
