I've been drawing and painting birds for over 25 years and have learned many ways to approach sketching a bird. I'm a huge fan of John Muir Laws and own his book "The Laws Guide to Drawing Birds". He is constantly evolving and finding new ways of approaching these feathered creatures. As I practice, I also continually discover new ways of attempting my subject.
