Surrounded by Neora valley forest and lushgreen pine trees, this place is just like a paradise.

I have explored the amazing waterfalls of Kolakham, called as Changey Falls, which is approx 4 kms from Kolakham.

Changey falls is also known as the highest waterfalls of North Bengal, which is falling from a altitude of approx 300ft.

Changey falls can be reached by treking down 900m which takes 1 - 1.5hr and the complete trip takes about 2 - 2.5hrs.

Kolakham is just 8kms from Lava, 40kms from Kalimpong town which can be easily accessed by road.

Kolakham is truely an offbeat destinaton of North Bengal, from which you can enjoy the mesmerizing view of Mt. Kanchanjunga and few hills of Sikkim.
