movie story : The story follows two petty thieves, Pachan (from Parassala) and Paramu (from Payyannur), who believe their "profession" is more honest than modern politics. The duo travels from city to city, attempting various elaborate scams to strike it rich.

One of their most famous schemes involves them posing as a ranking Circle Inspector and a wealthy financier to trick a bank manager. They eventually open a private finance company to scam local residents by issuing bad checks in exchange for gold. However, the film highlights that despite being thieves, they are "kind-hearted" criminals who primarily target the wealthy and feel a sense of guilt when their actions hurt the common man.

The subplot involving Constable Vasudevan (Janardanan), a bumbling policeman obsessed with detective movies who tries to catch them in various disguises (including a burqa), provides some of the film's most memorable slapstick comedy.
