Solo Camping in Florida: Surviving Heat & Storms

Описание: Summer camping in Florida’s rainy season is never an easy task. There are many factors such as humid heat, wildlife, bugs, and storms that can ruin a camping trip really quick. Was I able to camp with no issues? The simple answer is no. There were obstacles to overcome and I handled each the best I could with the tools and resources I had.

Join me on this solo primitive camp and see what camping in Southwest Florida can bring. This was in early July 2025. I rode my e-bike into my camp spot with two backpacks. There was NO A/C to escape to either. This was probably one of my more difficult camps I’ve done. I enjoy camping regardless and it is still a great way for me to find peace in this busy world we live in.
