O Pego do Inferno é uma das quedas de água da ribeira da Asseca,a sua cascata forma uma lagoa redonda, de um verde mediterrânico, rodeada de uma refrescante área arborizada.
Situa-se na freguesia de Santo Estêvão, a cerca de 7 km de Tavira, no Algarve e é um dos mais importantes cursos de água da região sendo uma das mais bonitas paisagens do Algarve.
Pego do Inferno is one of the waterfalls of the river Asseca, its waterfall forms a round pond, a green Mediterranean, surrounded by a wooded area refreshing.
It is situated in the parish of St. Estevão, about 7 km from Tavira in the Algarve and is one of the most important waterways of the region being one of the most beautiful landscapes of the Algarve.
