Field Report: Bonanza Creek Fire - July 3, 2025

Описание: The Bonanza Creek Fire is part of the Nenana Ridge Complex. Fire behavior increased with red flag conditions in Interior Alaska.

Firefighters are actively engaged in protecting structures along the Parks HIghway. Led by Alaska Division of Forestry & Fire Protection Pioneer Peak Interagency Hotshot Crew, fire crews with aviation support are burning out around businesses, homes and infrastructure to keep these values at risk safe.

Multi-engine water scoopers, helicopters with water buckets and fixed wing air tankers have been supporting ground personnel in their efforts to protect structures and keep the wildfires from crossing the Parks Highway.
