Hotel Ponnusamy Elite is a restaurant serving up Chettinad Cuisine. The intent was to create a visual identity for the brand that would aplty bring out the essence of the cuisine. The interiors serve up an authentic experience taking from Chettinad architecture and inspired by the comforting aesthetics and traditions as seen in a grandmother’s kitchen. Traditional ornate columns and Mangalore tile roofing with seating laid out in a traditional courtyard setting create an ambience. The rustic charm of this setting is enhanced through a palette of warm hues of oxide yellows, reds and terracotta forming a backdrop for the utensils that make a statement.
