Описание: This Sanibel Island presentation of January 2026 was held at Sanibel Historical Society. It is about the Ezekiel C. Vick and Othman Rutland families of Central Florida who relocated together to Sanibel Island after loosing everything in Florida's Great Freeze of 1894-95. I thank the Sanibel Historical Society for preserving this amazing Florida history in video, and I thank Wilson Hawthorne for doing such a splendid job in recording and editing this presentation. The Vick/Rutland family history is a Florida treasure that every Floridian should learn about, and I was honored to share the families story with not only residents of Sanibel, but with several of the Vick family members as well.
