The Centre for Extension and Field Outreach (OEA), in collaboration with the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), Delhi Technological University, organized the 3rd National Conference on Social Responsibilities of Educational Institutions (NCSREI–2026) on 12 January 2026 at DTU, coinciding with National Youth Day and commemorating Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary. The conference focused on the evolving role of educational institutions in nation-building in alignment with NEP 2020, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, and the vision of Viksit Bharat.
Inaugurated by Prof. Prateek Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, DTU, the event brought together over 280 delegates from academia, administration, policymaking, research, and civil society. Eminent speakers emphasized value-based education, youth empowerment, inclusivity, community engagement, and sustainable development. The conference featured 40 research paper presentations across themes such as rural development, digital inclusion, gender equity, mental health, environmental sustainability, and traditional knowledge systems. NCSREI–2026 successfully reinforced the role of educational institutions as key drivers of social transformation and national progress.
