It’s tough to tell your story in a short amount of time, but I will be as brief as I can. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. I grew up playing baseball my whole life. Luckily I was good enough to get a division one scholarship at Cal State Northridge and I became an All American there. I was then drafted by the Oakland A’s in 2010 and I was living out my dream.

During that time I got my first taste of real estate when I became a Realtor. I was selling real estate in my offseasons as a pro baseball player. Many people don’t know but you don’t make much money in the minor leagues. So I had to get a job to survive. No job is willing to hire only six months out of the year so being a Realtor was a great side hustle.

Eventually I hated that and I wasn’t very good at it. So I got into other side hustles while playing baseball. One of those was flipping couches and furniture on Craigslist. I was making really good money doing that, but after a few years it wasn’t fulfilling. Thankfully in 2015 I learned about house flipping and real estate investing.

I listened to Bigger Pockets every day and learned all the tricks of the trade from their podcast and books. I ended up finding my first deal and I maxed out all my credit cards to get a down payment for a hard money loan. It was super risky but it ended up paying off. Every dollar I made, I kept reinvesting it into the next deal.

Eventually my baseball career ended in 2017 as my real estate business started to scale. To date I’ve done 400+ deals with the majority of them being flips. I also own 30 rental units which I am currently liquidating due to everything going on in the world. We usually have 40-50 flips going at one time and have been as high as 70.

It’s funny because the most searched term for my name is “Ryan Pineda Net Worth.” So for those of you wondering, my net worth currently sits around $4,000,000. It has been a crazy ride.
