Описание: A reduced model of a bridge’s cross section based on the Proper Generalized Decomposition (PGD) approach allows to efficiently evaluate the displacement field for various parameter sets. The displacement field can be recalculated for different parameters (here Young’s modulus, Poisson’s ratio and load factor) in real time on a tablet/smartphone. With these reduced order models, optimization tasks such as parameter estimation, process control or design optimization become very efficient.
