A very profound question from a customer who is already experienced in using Visualizer 3D Studio and wants to learn even more:
What is the meaning of the two values ‘Measuring Value’ and ‘Scan Value’?
🔰 In Visualizer 3D Studio, the ‘Scan Information’ section shows several useful details, including the total number of Measuring Values and the Scan Value.
1️⃣ The Measuring Values represent the total number of so-called 'impulses' that have been recorded. You can also refer to them as scan points.
Our scan example comprises 7 scan lines and 115 impulses per line:
7 x 115 = 805 Measuring Values in total.
2️⃣ To determine the exact position of a signal in the scan field, pay attention to the information given for ‘Impulse’ and ‘Scan Line’.
3️⃣ The Scan Value is the value detected by the sensor at that specific scan point. It indicates the strength of the signal.
You can see this especially well in the side view: the greater the differences between the values, the more significant the anomaly.
💡 Tip: Switch between various views to move the crosshairs more easily.
