Located at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level, Vythiri has a much cooler climate than other parts of the district, making the location of the park more suitable. The first phase of the project at a cost of Rs 12 crore was inaugurated in September 2022.

Vehicular traffic will not be allowed into Vythiri Park, which is located near NH-766. Instead, vehicles should be parked in the parking area set up next to NH-766. A wide parking facility has been prepared here. There are parking facilities for bikes to buses. From the parking area, vehicles prepared as a part of Vythiri Park should enter Vythiri Park. It is only a 5-minute journey from the parking area to Vythiri Park. Vythiri Park is located at a small elevation. The vehicle facility operated by Vythiri Park is completely free. The vehicle journey ends near the ticket counter of the park.

Tickets can be obtained from the nearby ticket counters to enter the activities. Passengers' bags and other covers should be handed over at the comfort station near the ticket counters.
