We took the *2024 Fiat 500C* (Cabriolet) for a POV drive around the stunning *Costa Blanca* in the *Alicante* region.
2024 marked the final year of production for this classic, Polish-built generation. Everyone thought the 500 was going full electric, but since EV sales dropped, Fiat announced a plot twist: the new combustion "500 Ibrida" is coming back, built in Italy!

But before the new one arrives, let's test the 2024 classic. Under the hood is a tiny *1.0-liter, 3-cylinder Mild Hybrid* engine producing just *70 HP**. It has **46,000 km (~28,583 miles)* on the clock, a folding soft-top roof, and unmatched retro charm.
But what happens when you try to accelerate on the Spanish coastal roads?
