This might be the most challenging fabric I’ve ever worked with!
In this video, I attempt to transform a tattered, hole-ridden curtain into a uniquely beautiful dress. The fabric was small, damaged, and completely unsuitable for dressmaking - which made this an extreme creative challenge from start to finish.
Using unexpected techniques, couture detailing, and a lot of problem-solving, I turned an unloved textile into a unique wearable piece of art. This project pushed my skills as a designer and maker, proving that even the most unlikely materials can become something beautiful.
