Fun ways to practice guitar

Описание: The word "practice" can certainly put off a lot of people when talking about guitar. Immediately, you may begin to think of memorizing and running through scales, getting your alternate picking up to snuff via drills, and so on. Pretty much, the word "boring" comes to mind.

But, what if practice was actually fun? In this video, a continuation on my last video, I run down how I practice on guitar to not only better my chops, but to help me understand and identify different ways to play scales and chords across the entire fretboard while figuring out how to melodically transition through each chord in the progression you are playing through.

The concept is simple, find any good chord progression and get decent at playing it. Then when you feel like you got it down, change the key of the progression and repeat the process. This provides a "tonal center" to practicing instead of just noodling around. This method of practice will pretty much force you to learn the fretboard in ways that you thought were impossible.
