In September of 1990 I rode the Algoma Central from Sault Ste. Marie to Hurst Canada. On the way back I was invited to the cab of the locomotive. Our train consisted of GP38-2 #203, GP7 #170 , steam generator car, two baggage cars, and two coaches. We dropped off extra coaches at the Canyon and picked them up again on our return trip.
